    Long, hot class so it requires patience and perseverance (less so skill). Instructor talks pretty fast but there likely will be experienced class attendees in the room to watch as an excellent visual reference.     No one opened the doors for the 7am until 6:54am. But Aaron was awesome. He assumes intermediate level but helped me as a beginner. He came around to catch your punches 1-1. He could’ve done more hyping how your punches would get ‘em good. He did do more of that towards the end.

    This class is one of my favorites. It’s great for people who don’t have a lot of experience with weights and provides a full body workout, but it also offers a challenge for those who have years of experience with weights.     Andrea was so good! She pays attention to form and is very helpful and motivating! I loved that there wasn’t so many people because that way you feel the trainer is paying attention to you. I’m from out of state but whenever I’m in town I’ll definitely be coming here. Excited for more classes!

    Pros: Anna did a good job leading the training and the exercises are interesting and varied. Cons: the kettlebell options were limited (nothing lighter than 10lbs for straight-arm front raises); the training took place in the lower level of the studio which is like a dark dungeon, super depressing after a whole workday indoors. Don’t know why we didn’t use the upper level which has a wall of windows for natural light.

    So sweet! And the first place in Boston that has a genuine sense of community. I don’t know if it’s because the crowd is more experienced in life or what but people actually talked to each other. That is SO hard to find in any other place. I have been here for 15 years and I still feel lonely and like people don’t actually care for each other at all. Here it felt good.
