Meredith was a great instructor, fully explaining each pose and giving modifications to make flow easier/more challenging. The only critique I have is the size of the class; they should definitely cap the class at a few less people so we can at least have arms length distance from the next person.

Someone’s phone went off twice during the end of class, and it was not even on vibrate. Hopefully the teachers can try to enforce a phone free zone in the future but it’s hard to police everyone. Everyone should be able to turn off their phone for an hour and if it’s an emergency pls just keep your phone on vibrate to ensure a distraction free space for the community

She was really encouraging and kept me motivated while at the same time made me feel comfortable going at a pace/with the weight level that worked for me. I also liked that she called out how much time we had left for a given exercise, counting down at the end - I find this really helps me push myself as I know there’s an end in sight! 😅 Definitely recommend!

I was warm but didn't break too much of a sweat and that's quite important for a girl with natural hair. Definitely recommend trying this out!

My second class with Shannon really cemented Mats being a hidden gem for me. After trying out countless other classes with trainers/instructors of varying skill sets, price points, and motivations, this is truly the best find yet! The instructor is warm, thoughtful, considerate, yet motivating and using evidence-based *intuitive* cues to make sure we're always checking in on our bodies. The mindfulness of the instructor really pushed the bar for me 😳💕 I've never been so consistent with my routine than with the team here. Thanks Mats!
