すべてのレビューを表示Maria is an amazing guiding voice throughout this practice. She creates such a calm, safe, free space for everyone. Class was spent on our backs doing some very slow, very gently stretching and deep breathing. This was not a flow. I could tell everyone wore their comfiest clothing, and next time I would even bring a light, comfy sweatshirt. Props, such as blocks, a blanket, and bolster were encouraged to make it comfortable for ourselves. Maria provided three different essential oils she very kindly shared and passed around the room for anyone who wanted to dab some on their wrists before beginning. I can imagine this class being especially lovely when the time changes and it’s dark outside, illuminating the candlelight, but the gentle light filtered through the curtains was pleasant in its own way. If you’re looking for some time for yourself, to engage in self care and self love, to give yourself the gift of being still and quieting your body and mind, you will love this class. Perfect after a long Monday.

Plus she keeps the red light on which makes for a better general vibe. My one complaint is the instructor before (Chris) always runs over and cuts into the start time.

This is the 4th studio I've been to in south Florida and now I've been here a number of times and to be perfectly honest, after coming to Up Pilates--I have zero interest in going to any other Pilates studio. This is classic Pilates. The instructors are outstanding! They give personalized attention and classes are small. Big thumbs up 👍🏻

Liz makes you feel comfortable and there’s no over bearing pressure to “keep up” in an uncomfortable or too pushy of a way. I also like the variety of moves she’s incorporates, there’s a lot but I think she contributes to dynamic nature of all the instructors :)

I have never felt so stretched out, challenged, supported and encouraged before. The instructor was wonderful and always looking out to make any correction she needed to for me. It was such a huge help as I had no idea what it should look/feel like. She was very articulate with what she was doing so even when you couldn’t see her you could continue to follow along. Not only was the instructor wonderful the entire class was welcoming and encouraging for it being my first time. The studio was clean, cute and well kept. I would definitely recommend taking a class and trying it out. Especially if you want to challenge yourself!

It's a no judgement zone and there are people of all ages. Most of the choreo is easy to follow and if you are a first timer as long as you are moving you will pick it up. or just put your own flavor to it as it feels more like a dance class than a traditional Zumba class.
