Joyce is a very excellent yoga instructor. You will learn the basic and how the way you can do the pose. She will inspire and motivate you to do your homework by practicing at home. I liked Kevin’s technique: a focus on breath work with small movements with strong impact, choreography that gradually increases difficulty, while giving you options if you’d like to do more or less. It was my first time to use a Balanced Body machine which is like a typical reformer machine except it’s on the ground so it feels more stable and I got deeper stretches. It was also my first trime to try Infrared heat during pilates which is similar to Bikram yoga in a hot room so I definitely sweated it out more and my muscles felt warmer. Facilities are okay, they lend workout towels and there are showers. Met the studio owner who I recognized from YouTube workout videos from the pandemic, they really are passionate about fitness and it was great to finally try their gym. Would love to come back and try the other classes!

She personalised her lesson by remembering each student’s name and addressing by their names during the session, love this extra effort which makes it warm and welcoming. The session was so soothing and relaxing even if we could still hear the sounds of the outside world it was easy to ignore because of the instruments. It was definitely what I needed on a Friday night! 100/10 recommend

Especially since there were so many elements of ballet involved that I'm used to~ Chin was super encouraging and would check on everyone's form and correct our alignment as well! I'd be open to booking another one of her classes if she has evening slots going forward :)

She started by guiding us through a warm-up stretch, then taught us various pull-up and hanging techniques step by step, with a strong focus on safety. By the end of the class, we were able to perform a short routine, followed by a cool-down stretch. Kru Nut adjusted the moves for beginners, making them easy to follow, while also offering advanced variations for those with more experience. P.S. It’s helpful to have some arm strength and be prepared to stretch well before joining this class! Also, don’t forget to breathe while hanging—it really helps reduce fatigue.
