The art on the walls is so peacefully warm and beautiful and takes up 70% of the space, and the huge glass windows overlooking the water is such a beautiful location.     Abby is my favorite instructor of any yoga studio I’ve tried in the area! It feels like at a lot of places instructors get caught up in the workout / aesthetic and leave out what yoga is really about. I’ve been practicing yoga on and off for about a decade and Abby reminds me why I fell in love with it. She brings a sense of peace to the class and truly makes it an experience about the mind, body, and breath. She is so knowledgeable, always encouraging, and always provides variations of poses to be inclusive of everyone’s ability. Couldn’t recommend her class enough!

    Fun, fast-paced class to get a good sweat in! About half of the time is spent doing strength exercises with dumbbells/body weight and the other half at the punching bag. The punching bag was my favorite part! Got some pent up frustration to take out? Punch it out! Remembering the 6 different punches was a bit confusing since this was my first time and the instructions moved quickly, but I went my own pace. There are visual instructions projected on the wall for the strength exercises, so that was easy to follow. Music and our instructor, Jennifer, were energetic!

    Chela is awesome! She is such a charismatic Zumba instructor who makes class enjoyable and challenging. I’ve experienced my fair share of good and bad Zumba instructors, and Chela definitely embodies all of the good. Really liked this class. Lots of space and natural light in the fitness room. I’ve done Zumba many times before so it wasn’t too hard to follow along with minimal instructor cues. Zumba is all about moving and having fun so there’s no worry about getting all the moves right.     I've never been into hot yoga. Whether it be in Buffalo, Brooklyn, or Boston— I kept trying because it was always so recommended on ClassPass, and it was a nightmare of a feat each and every time. That didn't happen with Barrie. They didn't just explain the postures, but go through the flows with us, expand on our breathwork, teach us how to isolate, what other modifications would work for our personalized form and body capacity, etc. I really felt like this class changed my outlook on hot yoga as a whole, and I'd love to recommend a class with Barrie as anyone's first time, or to those who are nervous/anxious/frustrated with their routine going into this. Really happy I came, and will now be a happy regular!

It’s a mid sized gym with amenities like theragun for your sore muscles, wet towels, mouthwash in the changing rooms, great showers, and a little lounge area. She also provided space, without judgement or restriction, for us to make it more challenging or modified depending on what you needed (which was good for a mixed level group). Note: it’s not the most challenging class, so if you’re looking to break out major sweat and hit 2nd stage muscle — it’s less effective in that sense but it was honestly just the workout I needed for a Sunday reset on a fatigued day.
