This is a great addition to my circus routine since I don't really give sufficient attention to proper maintenance exercises after training.

すべてのレビューを表示I enjoyed the class! I've taken aerial silks before and it was much like that course. We reviewed some of the basic wraps and got into a couple of basic poses. Even though they were basic, they can still pose a challenge and be fun depending on your skill level. The class works muscles that go under the radar. Mostly those that are found in the arms and back. It also works your hands, fingertips, feet, and toes. This can be uncomfortable for some, but remember your body isn't used to using some of these muscle groups. It's just waking up to new movements. I highly recommend this class and instructor. I'll definitely be back! The only thing that I wasn't a fan of was that the silks/fabrics had a stench.. We sprayed them down with a solution after use, but I'm not sure how often they are washed.

Music was great and we learned some popular dance moves like the dougie and stanky leg. The studio room we were in was really hot, no AC, which is my only complaint. But overall, I would come back!

I liked that Chief Nikki verbally instructed us on what to do, I thought it would be like Zumba where there aren’t verbal instructions but I was wrong! Love Roda and the clientele there!

This class is more so an intro to a long term commitment of learning rather than a one time class so keep that in mind. Regardless it was really cool to learn about the history and some of the moves of this dance/martial arts!

One of them saw me come in and did not greet me, come over, or introduce themselves. It seemed like they were annoyed about something. The other one was friendlier but I had to initiate introduction.

すべてのレビューを表示We learned some acrobatics and really cool kicks. The class was 20 min stretching, then 20 min drills of kicks (attacks) and escapes (defense). Then we paired up to practice different sequences for 15 min. After that we practiced our lessons in a playful sparring session amongst the other class mates. This was a great strength full body workout with cardio. Regardless of ability or fitness level the instructor makes you feel comfortable and is very patient. The instructor celebrates the smallest victory and encourages incremental progress.
