Overall would say it was intermediate level, you would definitely struggle to follow as a beginner, but nothing was overly challenging. Personally would have preferred a bit more challenge but that’s just me!

It’s hard to find a high difficulty yoga class focusing on inversions in the city and it was an amazing and informative class with warm ups and a workshop style section to end. Great energy! And also the studio is heated so that adds to the calorie burn and sweat during the class. I really enjoyed this class

すべてのレビューを表示I’ve always been enjoying Erin’s class but this one went beyond expectations! I’ve been suffering from lower back pain recently due to my bad posture working in front of a desk. The tricky part is that, because I’m pretty flexible to start with, it’s hard for me to get the deep stretch I need without overstretching and hurt the muscles. The class helped me gradually warm up the muscle groups and let me get the deepest stretch that my body was craving for. It’s challenging yet not too difficult that you can still adjust based on your level.

すべてのレビューを表示This one was one of their classes that was basically weight lifting, super heavy springs with movements similar to free weight workouts. I love that you can get in both alignment and weight training at one studio!! Results are craaazy even after only 1 week :)

I normally do the ID Strength class with Tricia Wednesday 7am-8am but the class was full this morning so I got the opportunity to try the same flow with a different instructor. I enjoyed Erin’s attention to detail. I’m trying to do ID Hot Yoga once a day for 2 weeks straight until 1/22/25, so this is a fun, new way to start!!!

すべてのレビューを表示Great workout. The large reformers are harder for my small build, i prefer the smaller ones but still a good workout. I just wished we could see the instructor better if you’re along the edges but I understand that’s the only layout of the reformers that would work.

すべてのレビューを表示I brought my boyfriend so that he could experience pilates for the first time and it was great. Joanne was very intentional with her language and kept an eye on everyone's form. One of the moves was so difficult to hold, but everything else was doable and felt like a full-body workout. My only issue is that there was another class going on at the same time in the same room, which made it somewhat difficult to hear Joanne.

すべてのレビューを表示Really great first class! It was a bit hard to find because the apartment building wasn’t open yet so we had to get buzzed in. There was also no label saying the studio was on the third floor. But other than that, the class was nice. It wasn’t too difficult, felt more like a stretching class than a strength building. Our instructor was very kind, she didn’t correct our forms though, I wish she did so I knew if i was doing things correctly. Very beautiful studio!

Instructor would demonstrate but not explain how to get into poses, just said “warrior 2, crescent” etc. with minimal prompting. She left space for us to alter as we needed which made the class very freeing. Great workout and well-paced (I hate when yoga classes rush through poses too quickly - Christine was great!)

すべてのレビューを表示This review is long overdue! Mark is my favorite teacher at Physique 57. I’ve been following him uptown and downtown for the last three months. I love his energy, his smile, his humor, and his playlist - it’s the best!! What I love is that he makes sure the movements align perfectly with the beat of the music, something I’ve noticed other teachers don’t often do. So it makes this intense workout more fun and pleasurable. My body has transformed, and I feel like a queen! So grateful for Mark and his class 🥰

Also I observed her adjusting a student and making modifications for another. That’s what you want in an instructor—attention to details!

すべてのレビューを表示This class was so insightful. I’ve taken plenty of Gyrotonic. Before but never something focused on Danvers. It was all new exercises and the setups really supported turn out and dance posturing. The teacher Miriam was very knowledgeable Anne gave excellent directions.

It was encouraging and challenging! Can’t wait for my next class. I will be definitely looking out for the ones she teaches! The studio was also very clean and there’s a team member there to greet you as soon as you arrive.

Just keep in mind there’s other mat and private Pilates sessions happening next to this class so that may be distracting for some people

すべてのレビューを表示The Row is the only place I can reliably get a great workout in where I know I'll sweat and burn at minimum 400 calories (according to my Fitbit!). For circuit training the cardio machines help me track my personal progress as my stamina has improved with each class and the owner and primary instructor Louis keeps things interesting with added weight focused exercise that you can progress on at your own pace with each class. How energy really helps you keep going and he's always available to flag down if you need help. Only spending 2 minutes at each station also makes it so you don't feel stuck doing the same exercise for too long. I've personally improved so much in the last year. I found out working out 3x a week really makes the extra difference from 2x.
