    I never write reviews for large group classes but had to this time because our instructor was the best I've ever had throughout my experience at Solidcore. He actually went around carefully coaching and correcting everyone's form which is so important for solidcore exercises but is never done. He had such amazing energy and attitude and I wish I could take his classes more regularly. Definitely recommend him for anyone especially if you're new to solidcore.

    Spring and Suspend: Pilates Strength

    I did not expect to work up a sweat but to my surprise it happened! This class was tough! I think I’ll be more mindful about doing Lagree Pilates 2 days prior in the future because my body still hadn’t fully recovered making this class harder as well. That aside, you will definitely get in a good workout here and leave with sore muscles. I always appreciate when instructors offer to help you correct form but don’t make you feel pressured to do more than you can especially if it’s clear you’re trying but can’t complete the sets. Megan was encouraging and knowledgeable as well and at times knew how to throw in a few jokes.

    Im reluctantly giving 5 stars because the instructor was sooo sweet and was truly doing her best. I do not want her getting penalized. The reason I did not enjoy this class was not because of her or her choreography but because it was absolutely impossible to hear! The microphone sounds so discordant it is not possible to decipher. Plus, since moves are somewhat complicated and often involving lots of equipment, it is extremely difficult to follow the cues even by visually following the other students. I worry that this could lead to injuries. I would try this again because the facility and staff were lovely but I feel as if I spent half the class trying to understand what was going on and trying to avoid getting hurt

    I really liked Ashley’s teaching style and emphasis on form. She reminds me of Emily Calhoun in the best way. I also liked her music. I didn’t love her routine- I felt like we could have held the moves for longer and had longer oblique and leg series. There was a girl in the class though who didn’t do any crunching (maybe due to pregnancy?) which was super annoying so that’s something for SLT to consider as a policy since if you’re going to do your own thing for 30% of the class why bother coming?
