I am suggesting that she reminds students to use their quiet indoor voices at the end of class, as some people choose to stay in chavasana for a few more minutes. (I unfortunately left feeling a bit violated by 2 students talking about their plans for the day incredibly loudly 20 inches from my ear while I was still recovering. It was incredibly disrespectful, and I couldn’t believe they were that oblivious.)

The class was heated and the music was fun and entertaining. Mario knew what he was doing, he really killed me in a good way. I definitely recommend his classes. For those who have not yet had the pleasure of getting to know Dennis, he states this in a lot of classes, but do not be alarmed - He is not sick, He just has a deviated nose septum. The workouts are excellent, there’s much better spacing in the workout room, and the music has been great. The only minor downside is that the speakers sound a little blown out, but other than that, it’s been an amazing experience.

I typically practice hot yoga that is focused a lot of athleticism and it was lovely to practice today in a way that felt more connected to the truth of asana. The instructor guided us through a sequence of movements that were opening and refreshing. The lighting and music was soft and subtle. I've been to Veda yoga before & I have tried several teachers, but Kumi is by far my favorite so far! If you want a challenge but equally looking for a peaceful end & beginning I highly recommend this class!
