I was very rusty in terms of my ballet practice before coming to class, but Milka was incredibly succinct yet thorough in her instructions and cues. The class description totally matches; even if you’re the slightest bit intimidated by ballet, try this class out!

すべてのレビューを表示Matt is my favorite instructor at Platefit. I will endeavor through AM traffic to get to Brentwood for his classes. My drive is 52-58 min for this 27 min class. You may think ohh crazy, but I’m pointing it out because it’s that good. Plus the lymphatic drainage and mood that you’re in for the rest of the day is worth it. FYI: TRX class is a modification to what I expected but it still whopped my a$$. Playlist is fire and he’s very experienced and quick to scan the room to check for form. The minor hands-on adjustments are always respectful and they make a big difference! I don’t know why I start laughing when my muscles get to failure but at least it’s a fun time while I’m suffering. Many of the attendees are regulars or, like me, have booked through CP and keep coming back to it. Cherry on top: parking is validated for 75 minutes.

すべてのレビューを表示It was my first time ever trying ballet so I was really nervous but I am so happy I came! I now see ballet as a true art form. Our instructor was very kind and technical. I was in such awe of her. The amount of strength you need to move your body so gracefully was insane. I just squatted 150lbs this morning before class but I can’t hold my leg straight forward on my tippy toes????? So humbling. Will come again. Please don’t go easy on me!! 🩰

She was bubbly and energetic throughout the class and gave feedback on how we were doing each move. The class is small so she gives feedback to each student. It was a good balance between technique at the bar and combinations in the center of the room. I honestly would not recommend this class if you have never taken ballet before. We didn’t spend much time on the basics and jumped right into it.

I saw another review stating the class was full of kids and that the instructor couldn't remember anyone's name, but I have been here twice and there were a couple of younger students in their teens but it was mostly adults. Also, the instructor makes an effort to remember everyone's name and even calls nearly everyone's name out for corrections/feedback. It's a great place to go if you are working to be a better dancer!
