It makes the class feel more comfortable and respectful for everyone. The front desk staff are also very accommodating. The lockers have individual codes, which is definitely a plus. There’s also a small area where you can get drinks, coffee, and matcha. The whole studio has a clean, aesthetic vibe. Overall, a very good experience!

If you ever think, “she’s not watching, I’ll just wing this one,” think again 😂 She notices everything, corrects your form and makes sure you’re actually doing the movement properly💪. There’s no getting away with doing things halfway, and I genuinely appreciate that 🫶 You can tell she’s fully aware of what’s happening throughout the session. Highly recommend!🏆

Alessia came over to say hi and asked if I had any concerns since it was my first time, which immediately put me at ease. Her instructions were easy to follow, and she went around the room to check on everyone, making sure we were all doing the movements correctly. It's clear she genuinely cares about everyone in the class, no matter their experience level. I left feeling relaxed, looser, and looking forward to my next session. We did a lot of handstands (well attempts I would say) cartwheels, rolls and so on, everything was soft and safe, so if you don’t know how to do that prepare to be learned.

Her energy is contagious, and she makes everyone feel comfortable regardless of their experience level. I even posted my class video, and now some of my friends are excited to try Afro Dance too!
