すべてのレビューを表示This was my first time taking this class, and while I think it was a bit different than what I was looking for (I usually do hot yoga), it’s great for what it is. FYI the temperature isn’t hot - it’s warm at most. Diana is a great instructor! I really appreciate that she would come to the side of the room (instead of staying at the front) so that we could see what she was doing, especially because there were a lot of people.

I walked out the door feeling really accomplished and strong which was exactly what I needed today. The studio is cute too! Clean, nice facilities, and very kind staff. As someone who's experienced in yoga, I felt that the flow was well-paced and synchronized, but it does get pretty fast and free-flowing at times based on the instructor's style. Therefore, I would say if you're very new to yoga and not super comfortable with different poses and doing things fast-paced this may be a bit of a challenging class for you.

We had a big class and he made sure to give us each special attention and correct our form throughout class so we could have a safe, effective workout. He even recommended shoes to fix the pain in my arch (I am heel-striking hard in my soft cloud shoes and need to relearn my walk.) Anyhow, highly, highly recommend him! One more note: I am a big fan of all of the instructors I’ve had at Para. They are all positive, helpful, and seem to really care about their students!

Now due to lots of health complications, I need to come back to an exercise routine. I am extremely happy that I ended up taking this class. Keri is a tough teacher, but her energy and level of excitement is exactly what I needed. She has motivated me to plan to do this regularly. She is the drill Sargent I needed and I am planning to take her classes 3 times a week. I will be there tomorrow for her next class.

すべてのレビューを表示The instructor was young, probably about 15 to 20 years younger than I am. He was very warm, welcoming, and kept an eye out for me. He assuaged my anxiety about not keeping up with the group. We began with a well-designed, dynamic, stretching and lengthening warm-up. The warm-up was challenging and had some cardiovascular intensity. We then moved onto a weight progression that led up to doing jerks with a bar. Because it was my first time, my bar did not have weight on it. He was very attentive to my questions on form and helped correct me. He would also challenge me and push me forward. Which I really appreciated. we also did a hang and lifted our legs in the process. That was very difficult for me. Nonetheless, he gently encouraged me and suggested that I was stronger than I believe. We also did a dumbbell row which was straightforward for me because I had done that in other situations. We finished off the class with some cardio. I did that on the bike. Had a really nice balance of encouraging and pushing the participants. Also letting us make adjustments for what we needed for ourselves. It was an excellent workout. It’s a level above what? I am ready for right now. However, it’s something that I could see myself signing up for in the future.
