    Studio 2 | Signature50: Full Body

    Brittany at Solidcore Fenway is one of their best coaches. Her exercises aren’t complicated and perfect for getting exactly what you want out of your class — to know that you CAN amplify (but don’t have to) and are encouraged to do your best and push yourself with a good pulse. I feel so welcomed, and she always remembers my name, even after not attending her class for a while. I can’t wait to take her class again.

    This class was SO MUCH FUN!! The instructor did an amazing job supporting me and showing me the ropes for my first time and motivated me to come back and ask any questions.     The studio was large and absolutely beautiful. Staff were also friendly and welcoming. Meredith was a great instructor, fully explaining each pose and giving modifications to make flow easier/more challenging. The only critique I have is the size of the class; they should definitely cap the class at a few less people so we can at least have arms length distance from the next person.

    I love Ivo’s cycling class so much that rain, sleet, snow, or sun- I’ll travel to take his class. Call me Carole King because I’ll be there. His energy and wide knowledge of music makes every class different and exciting. Highly recommend for anyone who’s an avid rider or just staring out and wants a good vibe.

    STUDIO-A: Sunrise Sculpt/Renvil

    Super fun! Renvil is so nice and welcoming, and gave the class a positive focused atmosphere. If i lived here i’d attend regularly, it’s a solid full-body workout that you can adjust to any intensity with varying weights. I loved his pop playlist too hahaha

    Abby is my favorite instructor of any yoga studio I’ve tried in the area! It feels like at a lot of places instructors get caught up in the workout / aesthetic and leave out what yoga is really about. I’ve been practicing yoga on and off for about a decade and Abby reminds me why I fell in love with it. She brings a sense of peace to the class and truly makes it an experience about the mind, body, and breath. She is so knowledgeable, always encouraging, and always provides variations of poses to be inclusive of everyone’s ability. Couldn’t recommend her class enough!

    ZUMBA - Dance

    Chela is awesome! She is such a charismatic Zumba instructor who makes class enjoyable and challenging. I’ve experienced my fair share of good and bad Zumba instructors, and Chela definitely embodies all of the good. Really liked this class. Lots of space and natural light in the fitness room. I’ve done Zumba many times before so it wasn’t too hard to follow along with minimal instructor cues. Zumba is all about moving and having fun so there’s no worry about getting all the moves right. Good music and energy all around.

    Mary Kate was very welcoming and the studio was so cute! I really enjoyed the class. It was upbeat and fast enough that I didn’t have time to pay attention to the 55 minutes passing. It was a good work out but simple to follow along. While it is beginner friendly I felt that my knowledge of basic work out positions and yoga positions was essential to follow along as the pace of the class didn’t allow the instructor to give individual feedback frequently. I will absolutely be coming back!

    Pilates Mat - In Studio

    Emma was an excellent instructor — she explained everything clearly and also demonstrated moves very well. She was really encouraging and kept me motivated while at the same time made me feel comfortable going at a pace/with the weight level that worked for me. I also liked that she called out how much time we had left for a given exercise, counting down at the end - I find this really helps me push myself as I know there’s an end in sight! 😅 Definitely recommend!

    I really wanna gatekeep so the classes remain tiny but I won't because I believe in them!! And think they should get so much business (&mula) ! My second class with Shannon really cemented Mats being a hidden gem for me. After trying out countless other classes with trainers/instructors of varying skill sets, price points, and motivations, this is truly the best find yet! The instructor is warm, thoughtful, considerate, yet motivating and using evidence-based *intuitive* cues to make sure we're always checking in on our bodies. The mindfulness of the instructor really pushed the bar for me 😳💕 I've never been so consistent with my routine than with the team here. Thanks Mats!
