すべてのレビューを表示great class. one complaint is having the teacher walk around and not have a specofic place where she can go back to demonstrate. i ended up trying to figure out where she was for the first 15 seconds each time she was demoing! but would definitely take again

すべてのレビューを表示The warm hips class was a breeze, it was essentially a 60 min light stretch. I liked the warmer room vs 'hot'...a bit too dark at times though (I'm getting older and can't see well in the dark haha).

すべてのレビューを表示Marcella is a great instructor, explains things well and counts to the music. Her class is toughhhhh but an amazing workout! Probably not the best for first time sculpt class takers as some of the movements can be complicated. She also has the best music!

すべてのレビューを表示Not a fan of the heat but I can’t find any other Pilates classes like this in my area. Loved the exercises, just the right amount of challenge! Loved the mediation and breath work components and cold cloth on the forehead at the end.

すべてのレビューを表示I think this is an excellently formulated class, and I enjoyed the challenge of transitioning from a vigorous Vinyasa-style to the more meditative space of Yin. The teacher has an excellent energy and centres the class in a good space. Just a couple of comments. (1) As a visitor to the studio, but a regular yoga practitioner, using standard names for asanas would have helped me stay more focused (happened maybe 10% of the time), and I also prefer the opportunity to do several complete and uninterrupted Surya Namaskar cycles somewhere in class (they were all cued as half or disjointed). (2) The Vinyasa portion felt a bit rushed (but I do tend to practice more breath-aware styles, like Ashtanga or 26+2) but the sequencing was overall solid. (3) One technical note, we did a ton of forward bending, but no back-bending, and even a short Ustrasana sequence in the Vinyasa portion or a supported Seta Bandha Sarvangasana in the Yin part would have felt excellent as a counter-pose. (4) The Yin portion was structured extremely well, but I personally prefer less “mental cueing”, and instead a simple breath count, as this deepens the meditative aspect and allows me to find and push my edge without distraction. All-in-all: excellent stuff and will certainly return to this studio again. I hope my comments show how impressed I was and how excited I am to rejoin the ATHA community again in the near future!

すべてのレビューを表示Absolutely loved this class. Very dynamic, lots poses, so you weren’t stuck in a pose forever. All poses were great for beginner or added challenge with modification. Utilized props in a great way. I loved the instructor, very vocal, talked us through everything and also gave visuals for how to do the pose. Worked whole body evenly and left relaxed and stretched.

すべてのレビューを表示Wow yin hips/hamstrings class with Jamie was INCREDIBLY RELAXING. I really loved how the class was structured and spaced in a way that allowed each person to go at their own pace. I felt like I was doing the practice in the bed of my own home. So amazing, thank you 😭🙏🏼

すべてのレビューを表示It’s a lovely studio with convenient parking and a welcoming atmosphere. The temperature and music were great. I was hoping for a proper stretching class, but it was more of a gentle breathing and mobility session. We spent a lot of time lying down doing slow movements, which felt relaxing but didn’t give the deep stretches I wanted. Still a nice class overall — I’ll give it another try!

Today was the first time I’ve sneezed without severe pain in my lower back or sacrum in years. Throughout the class she explains why we are doing what we are and though painful, we are educated to understand perhaps why that pain is there, or why 1 side is different than the other for some and why it’s not etc. therapeutic in many ways, grounding and healing.
