    Finally tried the legendary Barry’s on my visit to London. I didn’t realise it would be so brutal and as someone who works out regularly, I died (in a good way). This location was lovely and spacious. The changing room was big and clean with great amenities. The service was also good from reception to the trainer. As a first timer I also got a complementary protein shake which was a nice touch.

The longer set time in the class was good for the barbell exercise to let you do it and rest properly but for the other stations it felt too long and quite repetitive.     I started f45 two or three months ago as my friend wanted to try it, was struggling at first, but now I’m actually excited to go every week and I enjoy every class, even the hard ones, and it’s definitely thanks to Ryan! He’s very supportive and always encourages me to push harder because he believes I can do it, and he’s right!     Great session as always from Darcie. Clear walk through all the exercises and her warm-up to start had a perfect flow to it. It was 4x (or was it 5?) blocks of exercises for 4 mins each block.     Usually I wouldn’t write a review, but this time I feel I have to. I’ve been having a difficult time recently and while taking time off I decided on a whim to go to an afternoon spin class. This class was fun and challenging at the same time, Matt read the room and the energy and this was one of the best classes I’ve ever done. His supportive words ring true and couldn’t have come at a better time and made me quite emotional. So I just want to say thank you for an amazing session with amazing tunes, and still telling myself well done for showing up. Thanks Matt!!

    The class with Kamilla was good but given it was supposed to be taught in ENG she kept switching between that and Norwegian. Which I understand can be important sometimes, but after a point I wasn’t sure if I missed an instruction and that left me confused. I have a basic level of understanding but when I select a class that’s in English at 7am, I’m not prepared to having to firstly keep up with the demanding exercises but also make sure I haven’t missed anything being said in Norwegian. It was just distracting overall.

    Energetic and active atmosphere, very well organised training method, good coach. For beginners definetly recommend to try just 50% from the goal, otherwise if you try to achieve 100% you might get breathing problems.
