Variations were given as well, so it was never too intense (not yet at least, since it's only week 2). Just the right balance so we feel the burn. Will be back!

I think the class size at HV is just right where the instructor is able to go around to adjust your form quite a bit. Unlike traditional pilates that go by reps, they count down for each move (like HIIT). The cold towel at the end is a nice touch. :) Can consider coming here if you’re looking to switch it up from your usual pilates, but maybe won’t recommend anyone totally new to pilates to start here (would be better to start with traditional pilates to get your form right first).

I regularly go for spin classes but due to timing I don't regularly attend her class, and today I was panting and literally gasping for air at one point🥵.. I also like that there are only two blocks to prevent me from feeling confused and overwhelmed with the different workouts I have to do. Attending his class regularly will make you stronger week by week. When you attend regularly, he will call you out if you're going too fast or even to push a little bit further but it's always in an uplifting and motivating way. He always gives options using bar, weights or just bodyweight so it's suitable for all levels. I really enjoy his class! 💯💯💯

Janice guided us very well and was very friendly (thank you!!). Do note that you have to rent a towel for 1$, however they do provide you with a cold towel only after the class.

The speed & simplicity of the steps is just right (other instructors here tend to like very fast beats) - I really appreciate this because it gives me opportunity to jump in a correct form and push myself to jump stronger / more intensity. すべてのレビューを表示Great workout and introductory class to rowing! Though it's low-impact, I was working up a sweat 10 min into the class. And I think rowing promotes the release of endorphins because I was feeling super refreshed after the class!🌝✨ They also have other rowing classes which you can progress to after taking this class. The instructor Alastair was incredibly patient in guiding us through the basics of rowing and he gave a lot of tips on the proper form, how to use the rowing machine, about pacing ourselves, etc. Just a tip (especially for ladies): recommended to wear those training gloves with padding at the palms (you can get them at Decathlon for less than $20) because I was beginning to get blisters on my palms after the class.. 🫣 If you are interested in rowing, give this class a try. It's incredibly fun!

I was really working up a sweat towards the end of class 😆💦 (definitely bring a yoga towel, a face towel and a water bottle for this class. There is water cooler so you can refill your bottle at the studio). Lily is a very good instructor. Her instructions and demonstrations are very clear and easy to understand. Also she gives options so even if you're a new practitioner, this class is very manageable. A really nice stretch and workout session to end a work day. 😊✨

And let’s not ignore the elephant in the room: Jerol’s giant quads are basically a fitness motivation poster come to life. Every squat, lunge, and lift he demoed was a masterclass in strength. You can tell he practices what he preaches, and it’s beyond inspiring. He has this rare ability to be both approachable and authoritative, making everyone feel supported yet challenged. The playlist was fire, his cues were on point, and the vibe was electric from start to finish.

We used a yoga ball throughout which added a little instability and made the workout nicely challenging. This is relieved first time I did yoga and actually felt a burn. Would love to come here again!

The gym has a training schedule (different phases throughout the year etc.) so it’s probably more holistic and helpful to come in for the long term.
