すべてのレビューを表示The Hyperion at the Proper Hotel is a truly luxurious wellness experience. You have your own private suite with all the amenities you’d expect from a high-end hotel room, including a full bathroom. I appreciated that you’re free to customize how you spend your hour based on the therapies that interest you. The red light therapy bed is limited to a 15 minute session, and the PEMF mat runs for 8 minutes, but otherwise you can tailor the experience to your preferences. Since it was my first visit, I wanted to sample a little bit of everything.Unfortunately, when I went to use the PEMF mat, it displayed a low battery warning and wouldn’t operate. I spent about 10 minutes trying to see if I could plug it in or use the attachment for a specific body part instead, but wasn’t able to get it working. That was the only disappointment during an otherwise excellent experience. Had all of the equipment been functioning properly, I would have gladly given this experience 5 stars.

I typically practice hot yoga that is focused a lot of athleticism and it was lovely to practice today in a way that felt more connected to the truth of asana. The teacher was knowledgeable and provided good verbal cues and adjustments as well as hands on. Will definitely return when I'm in town again.

I didn’t even know about it but the instructor was nice enough to offer for me to stay. It was just a stretching relaxation amazing class. I feel like a brand new person before the class I felt like I needed a massage and after I felt renewed…she used a massage percussion gun as well as did Reiki. I literally feel like my energy is totally opened up all these good things started happening after I got a random check ha ha and a super nice gift that came in the mail. She also said she has a book coming out I’m super interested in it. Definitely follow her and try this class out of any class. I’m telling you it’s a must! There is a parking structure right underneath. Just make sure you enter through the small alley near the parking valet area. Vibration is so good for you. It drains lymphatic system. I’m telling you I’ve not felt this relaxed in a long time. The original class … this class that I booked was so hard 27 minutes and I’m definitely gonna be soar. I was dying. It’s way harder than Pilates or cycling.

My masseuse, Paul, a kind athletic tai-chi practicing man, did a fantastic job giving me a traditional Chinese style massage. His touch is really amazing for deep pressure, the kind that I travel to New York Chinatown for. I have to say, I have not been able to find a masseuse with this skill on the Westside so I am so glad that I finally found it! He is knowledgeable in TCM maneuvers and meridians etc. At first, I didn’t reveal to him that normally, as a musician, I usually seek bodywork for the shoulders and upper body. I came in asking for psoas help. But, he recognized my body pattern and deep use of the grabbing motion for my hands (like typing, holding a phone, holding dumbbells) and helped the tension that exists around my shoulder blade, neck, traps, arms…etc. right down to the fingers and wrists…the entire chain I use to play the piano. I asked for deep pressure and Paul was great at it! Post massage, I feel more mobility, relaxation, and am inspired to take care of my body even if I am watching tv on the couch.Thank you.
