    Boxing Fundamentals -- FIIT ft. Boxing Academy

    Incredible class for all levels. Nick is great at working with beginners to build habits and fundamentals and at the same time, he’s able to ensure that fighters with more experience are refining their skills and eliminating bad habits. It’s also a great workout, no matter what level you’re at. Highly recommend. He’s also a nice guy and very patient.

    Step

    This was the first time I took a step class, and I really enjoyed it. Suzy was a very kind and energetic instructor, which kept the rooms energy lifted and upbeat. She also mentioned all moves can be done without the step if you’re unable to use it, with or without arm movements and modifications. The intensity and burn is really up to you. Step classes really work your glutes and abs - so it was a nice sweaty workout. The class was older aged ladies, who were really good at step - that in itself was very motivating to watch them. I felt comfortable being a newbie in my first step class in that environment. I had a really nice classmate show me a few moves that I kept mixing up which was very kind of her. It was a new experience for me, and I underestimated how much of a workout step classes are. This studio is about 30 minutes from home, but I would definitely come back again.
