    I wasn’t sure what to expect but enjoyed the class - Meghan didn’t call out specific speeds like in a Barry’s class but let us pick speed based on exertion levels and previewed how long we’d be maintaining that speed (ie 90 seconds to 4 minutes). Did not love the flashing lights during class in the background but that’s just my preference. Playlist was unique and transitioned between hip hop, 90s rock, 2000s hits, a little EDM.     Great class, Pamela really care about form and being present, her voice is also soothing and relaxing. Loved this format as it was different than other yoga classes and also great as a stretch and reset type of class.     The instructors seem to act as air traffic controllers more than coaches. their main purpose seems to be to read the screen and then guide you to the next station, because the flow is otherwise incredibly confusing. In a class with two instructors I didn’t see either of them give a single correction or note to a full class of people. F45 is like the Cava of workout classes. It’s solid and reliable but also uninspiring and somewhat bland. It basically feels like doing a workout video in a class environment.

    Really great first class! It was a bit hard to find because the apartment building wasn’t open yet so we had to get buzzed in. There was also no label saying the studio was on the third floor. But other than that, the class was nice. It wasn’t too difficult, felt more like a stretching class than a strength building. Our instructor was very kind, she didn’t correct our forms though, I wish she did so I knew if i was doing things correctly. Very beautiful studio!

    I never write reviews for large group classes but had to this time because our instructor was the best I've ever had throughout my experience at Solidcore. He actually went around carefully coaching and correcting everyone's form which is so important for solidcore exercises but is never done. He had such amazing energy and attitude and I wish I could take his classes more regularly. Definitely recommend him for anyone especially if you're new to solidcore.
