Every instructor is happy to take things slower and answer questions when asked. Always a great selection of songs to dance to. The lighting is great. The other students are always willing to help film you and there is just so much positivity.

Definitely intimidating at times as the other participants in the class seemed like professional hip hop dancers, but everyone was nice and hyped each other up! The choreography wasn’t impossible to master and the pace of the class was perfect. Would come again!

The class is HARD, or I'm sensitive, IDK 😅 but she makes it easy for you to get distracted enough by the fun or by her making it look like a piece of cake that next thing you know you're in positions you NEVER thought possible all while making sure you are safe. She will push you only as far as she knows you can go, even if you're unaware of your own strength.

Really good instruction at the beginning, explaining the exercises for each station in the circuit, and it felt pretty fast paced as we moved through, doing enough reps to feel fatigued but not so many that you get bored. Jamie keeps an eye on each person and gives specific suggestions for improving form or adjusting weight. The music and instructor are fun and upbeat, and for the 7am class, she even provides cold brew coffee which was a nice surprise. My shoulders and arms are sore today, and I feel like I got more strength building out of this than other group training classes. FYI: the strength class is shoes on, and no mat needed.

Heads up that the Monday class is labeled as Beginning/Int, but it definitely leans more towards intermediate. All levels of dancers attend this class, but I would not recommend it to total beginners. If you are looking to return to ballet as an adult after many years away from it, this is a great place to restart your journey :)

The class was a nice class for light muscle strengthening, core engagement, balance and coordination. I loved the aerial portion and how we did a little bit of yoga and other format workouts too.

すべてのレビューを表示Worth noting that this class was sort of like a Pilates inspired strength workout with barbells and dumbbells. High reps! Lots of squats/rdls and variations of that. Not maxing out your weight. Very welcoming environment- would recommend for anyone new to strength training but it was a very tough workout so great for everyone.

It was low stress, the instructor was wonderful, and the choreography wasn’t too difficult to follow along with. I was nervous going in, but Michaela put me at ease and it felt like a safe space for a beginner. She has a great teaching style that’s both lively and calm. I’ll definitely go back!

I was worried I would be too weak to do anything because I’m super out of shape, but I was able to do nearly all of the beginner moves. I recommend this if you want to try something different and maybe find a new hobby. Will be going back.
