The sequence and moves not difficult at all which i like because im not looking for an intense session. And is hot which is a plus point for that sweat 💦. Apple’s cues and instructions were good and clear. Easy to understand and follow. Definitely will be back to her class. And she does not force you. She will continue to remind you to listen to your body. Thanks Apple.

Not sure if this class is suitable for absolute beginners though, it included plank, pikes, sit ups on the reformer, which if you struggle to do those on a mat, its even more difficult on a reformer. Plus, possibly a little dangerous if you fall or don’t have the strength to control the machine’s resistance. Reformer studio is new and clean with toilet and changing area.

すべてのレビューを表示Kenneth's Elevate class is one of the better ones I have attended at YM and I have attended quite a few some of which were not very well thought out and felt all over the place. This one was very well sequenced and everything made sense from the warmup postures to the strength drills and they definitely helped with achieving the final pose. The peak pose was crow & firefly + combinations of/ transitions between these 2. I can already can do titthibasana somewhat decently but I still got some really good pointers and tips to improve my form and even be able to play around with transitions. Great sweat sesh too!

She’s very encouraging and helps to correct our form when needed. Her Senang Flow class is also very senang to follow and has an easy pace that’s good for beginners. Really enjoyed the thread and needle shoulder stand, it felt really good for my shoulders and upper back muscles.

One thing I liked was that with each movement she will tell us whether to inhale & exhale — great for people like me who unconsciously hold my breath or breathe inconsistently when I'm going through the series of movements. She was constantly looking out for us and adjusting our postures as well.

Very early on she could tell I was very flexible so she also encouraged me to trust in myself and pushed me out of my comfort zone a little bit more. Her choreography builds in a meaningful progression to a big satisfying finish. If you survive her endurance work without stopping, you know you’re in a respectable place for your fitness. (I’m not quite there yet but I will be!) The studio is small & the facilities are basic but clean. The bikes circle the stage in a single row so everybody gets unobstructed view. I really appreciate being able to check my form in the mirror. So important especially when you’re new!

I always thought elephant trunk requires hip flexibility less of others, but today I realised it's more hip strength, and for once, lifting the butt off the ground was like yay I made it. the one and only foundation classes that sound like a beginner class but have a lot of depth, layers and intensity in every drill and flow. love it!
