    This is my favorite barre class I’ve taken and I’ve been to a few well known barre chains. Casey was an energetic, encouraging and kind instructor! I appreciated how she introduced herself since it was my first time there. She provided various modifications and the playlist was bomb. I also liked the lockers in the space! They were easy to use and different sizes in case you had a backpack or something larger than a small purse.

    Ang was a really energetic instructor. I liked how she would demo the move slowly before going into it full out, and she also provided modifications for people who needed less or more. She also had a great playlist! I love when the music syncs with the number of reps. I would recommend arriving about 10 minutes early to get a good spot. This particular class uses mats, weights and resistance bands, all of which were provided but if you prefer using your own mat I’d bring it.

    Everyone was SO kind here. They always are and the space is ultra excepting and supportive. Trainers were tuned in to every step and center, offering motivation and support or weight selections along the way. Also - side note, it’s nice how they bump the music up when we are in our stations, then turn it down a bit as we transition. It helps a lot with the motivation and the music is fire! My only suggestion is maybe a few lighter (just by a few pounds) options for things like shoulders - our smallest muscle groups. 10 pounds as a base is sometimes too challenging for me 😭😭😭

    I really enjoyed this class, and Taylor was a kind, clear and welcoming instructor. Before class began, she demonstrated one of the flows we would be doing which I found helpful. The studio had plenty of towels and loaner mats. That stood out to me because most of the studios I’ve tried charge to rent equipment. The space was a little bit hard to find for me because there wasn’t a big marquee sign like the other places in the shopping center. It has a suite space in an upstairs area so give yourself time to find it. I called the number after walking around for a few minutes and they ended up guiding me where I needed to go.

    Elliot is the best ballet instructor I’ve had. As a childhood dancer of 14 years returning after over a decade off, he has been patient and caring (as well as fun and endlessly entertaining) and never fails to explain if you stop to ask. I love that he teaches from his heart as well as from an anatomy/physiology perspective, teaching us to understand why and how our bodies need to move but how to also imbue our movements with grace, musicality, and feeling. You can tell his love for dance runs deep and it comes through in the way he teaches. He sees everyone’s individual potential and tailors his instruction not only to that but also to the level of drive and desire to progress/perform that he sees in each student. I have seen Elliot literally get on the floor to shape a student’s foot to help them understand the mechanics of a movement. If that’s not commitment and care, I don’t know what is! I will take classes with Elliot as long as he teaches.

    Full Body Cardio & Conditioning

    This class wore me out! It was effective at targeting my whole body and I felt stronger afterward. I really appreciated how welcoming not only the staff were, but everyone else in the class. They encourage everyone throughout each circuit and DJ makes a point to know each person by name. The bouncy floors are great for relieving stress on the knees and DJ also provides modifications for each exercise we do for people who have back problems. I will definitely be back for a strength session.

    Absolutely fantastic workout! Wow, I have taken many classes and this one was good. It was a combination of the well structured and put together workout with the perfect amount of time for work, and stations for variation. The energy was great, music was excellent (especially if you’re a millennial it seems - which I am lol) and the overall experience was just so good.     This class was a cardio blast- we were dripping sweat and had a very great workout. However, we came thinking this would be more boxing centered and really it was all about conditioning. Our class was one hour straight of 3 minute cardio heavy drills and it was difficult to keep up as beginners. We participated as much as we could to keep up with the regulars and it was still a positive experience. Just be ready to really push yourself!

    I liked the location and the cleanliness of the facility. This is for an advanced fitness experience for sure. Be ready to work. The instructor is kind and very helpful. I only give a 4/5 because I want to know before I go what we will do and for me it was too much cardio and not enough weights. But many like that … I like to lift heavy and move slower. I am 54 and consider myself very fit. I would try another class though that was not full body to see the difference.
