    As a first timer I wasnt a fan of how the floor had no clear division. Felt like everyone was on top of each other. Also didnt like the issue of weight selection for the floor people before being explained the exercises. Someone came and took my 25s from my rack (i started on weights) and i didnt realise I needed them until we started and there were none on empty weight racks nearby.

    I'm giving 5 stars because nothing was wrong with the class but it just wasn't my vibe which is okay! Studio was nice and spacious, the staff and the teacher were very friendly and welcoming. The class itself was different from other Barre classes I've done. I felt a bit confused and lost as a beginner. I also didn't love using a long foam roller as our bar for class, it felt unstable for me - but I get that the studio has to be creative with the space they have. I also didn't love the dance choreo section of class. As I said, still giving 5 stars because I think this class would be great for others, it's more of a me issue (:

    The class description was a bit intimidating, but the instructor Alyssa really put me at ease. The routine was hard, and I definitely felt it everywhere, but it was quite enjoyable. Alyssa emphasized pacing myself to get through the sets instead of getting more reps in, which really helped me complete the workout without feeling like I'm gonna die 😅 I'll definitely be back to try the other class formats.

    This studio made me feel very welcomed. My name was written on a chalkboard and the receptionist gave me a little tour of the studio. Yana is wonderful! She has a calm and soothing voice. She does all the stretches with you so it’s easy to copy her. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does! :) It was my very first time ever to try a hot, deep stretch, late night class and I loved it. The next day my body felt good almost like I had a massage. I’ll be coming back with friends!

    The class was really fun, and challenging. I love that it was a good mix of strength training and cardio. Gehna did a great job at cueing the different moves and segments, and was incredibly encouraging. One part that I especially liked was the fact she mentioned which muscle groups would be engaged and working during a move, really helped me make sure my form was correct and I wasn’t overcompensating using other muscles when it got harder.

    Lauren is an amazing instructor. I’ve been coming to her classes for two years and while I change up the other classes I do from time to time, I always make sure I attend hers. The class is challenging, at the same time there is enough time for warm-up and cool down and she provides adjustments and individual attention to ensure you are using the right positions. I find her classes are really helpful for posture and alignment and if I miss even a few classes while doing other ones, I can feel a difference in how my body is aligned. She’s also super friendly and down to earth. Love doing Pilates with her.
