    Booty Pump

    The booty workout had a lower body warm up and we did 2 rounds of 3 different exercises and then another 2 rounds of 3 completely different exercises than the first set. Followed by a short cool down. No traditional cardio i.e running. I was the only one in class so I was able to ask questions and get personalized corrections on form. Because of this we may have run out of time on another block of exercises . I felt really good about the movements, my heart was elevated and I was sweaty. The instructor was friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend this class for beginners who may feel intimidated by a gym setting or are worried they might hurt themselves. More experienced athletes still benefit from the programming and can increase weight to their comfort level. The instructor emphasizes form so you’re in good hands. The session was inside the Self Made Facility in Sports Arena- parking was not an issue. I didn’t use the restroom so unsure if they have showers or other amenities.
