    I loved my first Barry’s class! Everyone was super welcoming from the moment I walked in. Jamal was on point with clear coaching and great energy the entire time. The music was perfect (for my taste) which kept me motivated the entire workout. I never felt pressured to do more than I was comfortable with, but I definitely felt encouraged to push myself. The facility was very clean and well maintained. It was an awesome experience. I’ll definitely be back!

    Great class. I love Barry’s!! I would say just in general I’ve notice with a few of the instructors they aren’t very hands on so sometimes I feel like I’m just doing the workout with a bad form and completely wrong. They don’t come to correct form which then could lead to an injury. I understand that it’s a fast paced workout class and there are a lot of us and the instructor is cueing the strength part AND the treadmill part at the same time so I understand that it could be hard to look at everyone. Other than that keeping the instructor separate from the workout method I really thought Megan was super sweet and energetic. Great music and vibes. Would love to hear some Reggaeton in the mix lol. Definitely wanna keep booking Friday mornings with her!! :)

The equipment is great and this class was hard a lot of fast songs but with considerable resistance that really made me feel like I was getting a strong workout. I also really liked that they had a wider range of hand weights. Jill was a great instructor and her queuing was well timed but felt varied throughout class so I was never tuning it out.

    I really enjoyed this class! The instructor had great energy, kept everyone motivated, and the class flew by. The workout was well paced and engaging from start to finish. My only suggestion would be to offer heavier weights. The heaviest dumbbells available were 20 pounds, which felt a bit limiting for lower body exercises. Other than that, it was a fantastic class, and I’d definitely take it again.

    Great class. Super challenging in the best way. Was a little confused a couple times but thats to be expected being a first timer. Not necessarily beginner friendly but of course you can set your own pace. I felt like I caught on quicker bc Ive been working out at Bunda which has a very similar format. I noticed other reviews complained ab the loud music. It didnt seem abnormally loud to me. The volume (&lights) adjusted with the pushes which I loved!! It actually helped me push harder. Definitely expect to be sore tomorrow & most certainly plan on coming back.

    To know Mike is to love Mike! He has an awesome mix of encouraging but not taking himself too seriously which really creates an inviting atmosphere in the space. His physical presence is balanced by his goofiness in a way that really “works”. Highlight of the class is often when he gets caught singing in the mic and doesn’t realize we are all listening! He’s one of the Barry’s instructors that first comes to mind when I think of suggesting to a friend that they try their first class.
