The owner herself did my last lift and it was a great first experience (I was so relaxed that I feel asleep multiple times throughout the process). Since you have to have your eyes closed for a long time, I’d recommend wearing glasses instead of contacts so your eyes don’t get too dry/irritated from being closed with contacts in.

This was my first time at Ohm Thai and I walked past the small space three times before realizing the sign was on the door (on the right when you enter the plaza). I didn’t realize it would be one big room divided into four sections with curtains, but it didn’t bother me. There might be a fitness studio upstairs because you’ll hear thuds and bangs here and there, but the room plays oasis and gentle relaxing music to make up for it. Emma was my masseuse, and I requested the Swedish massage (not 100% knowing what to expect), and oh my goodness did I walk out of there in a daze because I was genuinely relaxed. She asked where I would like to focus and I mentioned my neck, shoulder and lower back. She ended up focusing on my entire body (literally from head to toe) which was surprisingly nice! I fell asleep three times because I requested a lighter pressure for a more gentle massage. The hot towels and the aromatherapy was also a bonus. I think she accidentally gave me an extra 10 minutes, or maybe she thought my brittle bones needed it lol. Anyways, 1000/10 recommend!!

I wasn’t totally sure what a therapeutic massage was but I shared my IT band pain and she not only completely released that but gave an amazing full body massage with select use of hot stones and about every technique you can think of.
