Had a great class overall, but I unfortunately have a nitpick about the bike itself — I was not used to the material of the handles and they were so slippery that I had trouble doing things like tap backs, even with putting a towel over the handles. I’m sure it’s something I can get used to but it was surprising at first and other studios I have been to (not just Philly) have that grippier material which I find much easier to travel on the bike.

I do wish that the instructor cued the breath- to me that is part of what makes Pilates Pilates and sets it apart from other workout programs (like barre) - but that's just my opinion since I am trained in classical 🥰
