    I wasn’t sure what to expect but enjoyed the class - Meghan didn’t call out specific speeds like in a Barry’s class but let us pick speed based on exertion levels and previewed how long we’d be maintaining that speed (ie 90 seconds to 4 minutes). Did not love the flashing lights during class in the background but that’s just my preference. Playlist was unique and transitioned between hip hop, 90s rock, 2000s hits, a little EDM. While I’m mostly an outdoor runner I can see myself doing a class in the winter to prep for a race since

    Barry’s is not my exercise of choice but I’ve been trying to do a class every week (I am NOT a cardio person). Alycia is one of the most skilled fitness instructors I’ve ever had. I push myself in ways I don’t in other people’s classes. I also never feel like I have to increase my speed in this class just because other people are. There are other Barry’s instructors who really push everyone beyond their limits (especially the OGs) to a place where it might not be the healthiest, but she doesn’t. I’d take all my running averse friends to her class just so that they can see it’s not that bad after all!! Can’t wait to go back. Go to her class… you might still hate running, but you’ll find that it’s finally accessible!!

    Avery brought the energy, he brought the vibes, he brought the “you can do anything” spirit. One of my favorite and hardest classes in a while! The music was perfectly synced. There was no time to be bored because there was so much variation. Loved this class!

    I don’t come regularly but every time I make it to class it’s always motivating and fun and 45 minutes though brutal at times go by very fast. If managment reads the comments can I suggest a sticky mat at the door so people who don’t change shoes can’t at least get some sidewalk / subway / bathroom filth off their shoes since many exercises require us on our forearms and hands.

    This class is always so good. Perfect amount of cardio and strength. It was a lightly attended class tonight. Only 5 others in the room with me, which was kind of private/nice! Worth noting for anyone on the fence that they are very welcoming and you can challenge yourself at your own pace.

    Amazing hard workout! My quads were crying my the end. Great mix of plyo, heavy lift, conditioning and strength. Really friendly folks in class, lot of camaraderie and focus on getting in a killer workout. Instructor had great energy and good cues. Would definitely come back. Prob not great for beginners as we just got right into it, but as a former college athlete, this felt like home. :)

    What an awesome and challenging class. I was impressed by the level of skill here. Definitely a bit overwhelmed (and should have had the coffee before a 6 am class) but Lee and others were very welcoming and patient.
