    I really enjoyed this class! The instructor had great energy, kept everyone motivated, and the class flew by. The workout was well paced and engaging from start to finish. My only suggestion would be to offer heavier weights. The heaviest dumbbells available were 20 pounds, which felt a bit limiting for lower body exercises. Other than that, it was a fantastic class, and I’d definitely take it again.

    To know Mike is to love Mike! He has an awesome mix of encouraging but not taking himself too seriously which really creates an inviting atmosphere in the space. His physical presence is balanced by his goofiness in a way that really “works”. Highlight of the class is often when he gets caught singing in the mic and doesn’t realize we are all listening! He’s one of the Barry’s instructors that first comes to mind when I think of suggesting to a friend that they try their first class.

    This class is hard! lol go if you’re ready to be challenged. The music isn’t my fave but I must say the instructor is great and he will push you. It’s a great class especially if you’re training for hyrox, a marathon or just trying to improve your overall fitness.

    This was my favorite Barry’s class so far. I really appreciated how the instructor actually demonstrated the floor exercises in a spot that was visible and used achievable benchmarks on the treadmill. I was sad to hear it’s her last class at this studio, wishing her the best!

    I go out of my way to go to Dilan’s classes. She consistently has phenomenal music and programming plus she keeps you entertained and motivated throughout class. I’ve taken hundreds of Barry’s classes in multiple states and countries, and Dilan will always be one of my top instructors. Highly recommend her classes (and I wish she would have a weekly evening slot in Chelsea ;)

    Never did Barry’s and Jill was awesome. She told me i wouldn’t be shamed for walking and to do what i can. Her energy was great and super friendly. Space is clean. There’s lockers, showers, toiletries, hair ties, and q tips. There are towels when u get to the treadmill and weight space and you don’t have to clean the machine when you’re done. It’s all done for you!

    Kristin is an awesome instructor! In my experience, I feel like a lot of Barry’s instructors make you feel bad for not going max speed on the treadmill (as someone who is more of a jogger). I did not feel that way at all with Kristin! Would definitely go back.

    If you’re a beginner, I think this is a good class! Instructor was super nice, but class was very easy so if you’re looking for something hard harder, this is not it. Also, personal preference— I think the studio should not allow people in who are more than five minutes late. We had someone come in late and it stopped the flow and distracted imo.

This was my first time and I really struggled on the Lagree machine, but Stacey demonstrated the movements beside me and corrected my form — while simultaneously giving instructions to both the mega side and the stride side.     Great first experience at Barry’s! The room was definitely on the warmer side, so be prepared to sweat. Davis was an incredibly motivating instructor and kept the energy high throughout the class. At first I wasn’t totally sure what I was doing, but watching the people around me and listening to Davis explain each station made it much easier to pick up as the workout went on. It was definitely a challenging workout, and I’m glad my rotation started on the treadmill because it helped ease me into the class. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back.
